Deck and step lighting is about safe footing first and atmosphere second. We install step and riser lights that light each tread without shining in your eyes, post cap and rail lights that outline the deck, and small accents under caps and benches so the space is easy to move around in once the sun goes down.

Decks get a lot of use in New Jersey summers, often well after dark, and the stairs down to a yard, pool or dock are exactly where people trip. A 12-volt system is a safer choice around decks than line-voltage wiring, and we plan the runs around the framing so wires stay out of sight.
